Annual Physical Exam

A Yearly Physical Exam is very important to your pet’s health. Your pet ages an average of seven years to our one year; therefore, changes in body conditions can occur rapidly.

K Laser Therapy

K – Laser Therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to create therapeutic effects. It can be used in the treatment of joint pain, ligament sprains, muscle strains, chronic wounds, post surgical healing and a variety of other conditions.

Heartworm Test

We recommend testing for heartworms every other year if your pet is kept on preventative. If your pet is off of preventative for over two months, they need to be retested before they can be put back on heartworm preventative.

We now offer ProHeart® 12, from Zoetis, which is the only once-yearly injection to prevent heartworm disease in dogs. Ask us about the benefits of ProHeart 12.

Micro chipping

To help reunite your lost pet with their family we offer HomeAgain Microchips.

Wellness Screen

We now offer a Wellness Screen at you annual examination, this is a simple blood test designed to detect problems that would go unnoticed otherwise. This screen can alert us to infection, inflammatory disease, and anemia. Early detection of disease is key; once a problem is identified we can make appropriate recommendations at a point when treatment can make the most difference.

Hill’s Prescription Diet

We offer a wide variety of prescription foods that can be an aid to certain health problems. Often, when a problem is identified through a wellness screen, a simple change in diet can help to avoid major health problems.
